Adolescent Suicide & Depression Prevention Program

Where To Next is a free, 1 to 4 session educational program for youths, teachers and parents on how to deal with depression and suicide in youngsters. The program also deals with coping with suicide after someone close to us takes their life. Where To Next is designed to address the unique needs of adolescents (though we do have variations for older age groups). As their minds are developing and generally interpret their lives differently than those over the age of 18, we have designed the program to reach them based on a more emotional level. This program is delivered by seminar and workshop and uses the aid of our educational material and documentaries during unique interactive sessions with the target audience.

What You’ll Gain

The path to peace is often found with a helping hand. This in-person experience provides an interactive session with emotional intelligence trainers and the opportunity for mutual support and shared positive impact by connecting with others who share in your experience. You will experience compassion and reinforcement from people who relate to your experiences, and through your participation, you will have the opportunity to help others grow.

Where To Next teaches you how to:

  • Learn to care for yourself, including managing your stress

  • Support others around you

  • Stay informed on the latest research and information on mental health, including anxiety, depression and substance use

  • Understand the mechanics of your mind, how it bridges synaptic connections of emotion and how to re-wire your reactions

  • Navigate the challenges and impact of suicidal thoughts on the entire family and those around you

  • Manage your life’s load, solve problems and communicate effectively

  • Take the helm and discover goals for your future
