#innerpower #innerstrength I Don't Know?

"I don't know" can be a very scary thing to admit to most people. You may believe that it is a sign of weakness. We've all heard the cliche, a guy is afraid to ask for directions so he drives in circles refusing to give in. We all know better, but fear makes us do stupid things. Why does that phrase cause so much anxiety? Is it because we are afraid of looking bad in front of others? Sometimes the "other" is more terrifying than being lost. At least that is more familiar to us. We seem to have some control in our comfort zone even if we know deep down inside, it isn't good for our well-being. The unknown is so scary that we would rather make up some bullshit than face the ridicule of someone else.

I can tell you firsthand that saying those words can be the most freeing act you'll ever experience. You let go so much the moment you utter those words. Possibilities are revealed, and the doorway to knowledge is opened, because you used the wisdom key. Insecurity is no longer a contributor to your decision making. Instead of looking at not knowing as a weakness, you can find some comfort in the realization that it is actually a new beginning. A chance to grow in self awareness, and a chance to gain a little more self-knowledge. Savor those moments because they are few and far between, but I promise you will notice those opportunities more, now that the ego is out of the way. Fear is temporary, but awakening is forever.
